Bucky for Chrome
Look up lot size, zone, permitted uses, and a sourced buildable envelope from the property page you already have open.
Bucky for Chrome shows sourced buildability facts for the property on the current browser tab, then lets you act on them without leaving the page. The product page is Bucky for Chrome.
Chrome 116 or newer is required. That is the version that can open the side panel from the toolbar click.
Install
The Chrome Web Store listing is in review. Until it is public, the product page says Listing in review instead of linking to a store install. There is no separate store purchase. Sign in with your Bucky account. Bucky is the seller. Personal is $29 a month (200 lookups). Professional is $99 a month (1,000 lookups, then $0.10). See Plans and site lookups.
A sourced snapshot works without an account, subject to usage limits. Sign in to save sites and ask questions.
Open a lookup
Bucky does not run in the background. A lookup starts in one of three ways:
- Click the Bucky icon.
- Press Alt+Shift+B.
- Right-click and choose Look up this page. The same menu can look up selected text, or save a selection to a project.
The side panel then shows the snapshot. On a tab you have not invoked Bucky on, the panel asks you to invoke it. It does not keep showing the previous tab.
Optional listing overlay
An in-page overlay can stay on listing sites after you click Show on listings. It is off by default. Chrome names those sites and asks permission at that moment. The hosts are realtor.ca, realtor.com, zillow.com, redfin.com, loopnet.com, centris.ca, kijiji.ca, housesigma.com, zoocasa.com, crexi.com, and trulia.com.
Everywhere else, the side panel, the shortcut, or Look up this page reads a visible address from the current tab.

Where a city is not live, the snapshot places the address and says so. It does not guess. Published coverage, including the gaps, is at coverage.
What is sent
The address is sent when you look up a site. Coordinates are sent when the page exposes them, or after you pick an autocomplete suggestion. Your account email is sent only if you sign in. Page title, URL, and text are sent only when you send an Ask Bucky question, and only the text the panel showed you. Highlighted text is sent only when you choose Save selection and pick a project.
Bucky does not upload listing photos, prices, agent names, or page HTML. Bucky does not sell this data. The privacy policy is buckybuild.com/en/privacy.
