Apps

Where you can use Bucky — the web app, Bucky for Mac, Bucky for iPhone, Bucky for Chrome, and connections for AI assistants and the command line.

Bucky is one account across several apps. Your projects and sites are the same everywhere you sign in.

Web

The web app at buckybuild.com is the full workspace: Explore, saved searches, zoning, feasibility, and reports. Start with the quickstart.

Mac

Bucky for Mac keeps your projects, site facts, and sourced answers in a native app you can keep open all day.

  • Download. Get it from the Bucky for Mac page. It is a direct download, not a Mac App Store app. Open the disk image and drag Bucky into your Applications folder.
  • Notarized. Apple notarized the app. That is the check macOS runs before it opens an app from outside the App Store.
  • Updates. Bucky checks for a new version every day and tells you when one is ready. To check now, choose Check for Updates… from the Bucky menu. If you installed an early build that does not have this menu item, download the app once more to start getting updates.
  • Sign in. Use your Bucky account with email or Continue with Google. Sign in with Apple is not available on this download.

iPhone

Bucky for iPhone is in App Store review. There is nothing to download yet. The Bucky for iPhone page will carry the App Store link when it is live.

The iPhone app brings your projects and site facts to the field:

  • Site camera. Photograph the site and keep the picture with the project.
  • Document scanning. Scan a document and keep the file with the site.
  • Widgets. Check a project from the Home Screen, plus a site-capture control, without opening the app first.

It uses the same account you sign in with on the web.

Chrome

Bucky for Chrome shows lot size, zone, permitted uses, and a sourced envelope for the property page you already have open. You can also type bucky and an address in the address bar. See Bucky for Chrome.

AI assistants (MCP)

Connect Bucky to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI assistants that support MCP. The connector is included on every plan. See Connect Bucky to your AI.

Command line

The Bucky CLI is in early access and is not publicly installable yet. See CLI.
